NFCS Meets AYP
September 2, 2005
For the second year in a row, NFCS has successfully made Annual Yearly Progress, based on the impressive PSSA scores that have come back from Harrisburg. All public schools in Pennsylvania are evaluated through achievement on standardized testing, and must meet annual goals to be in compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act. NFCS is a part of this accountability plan, and has again increased student performance, as demonstrated by the PSSA scores.

New Programs for Community C.A.R.E.S.
September 2, 2005
Starting October 3, Community C.A.R.E.S. Learning Center will be starting a brand new year of after school programming for students in kindergarten through high school. Community C.A.R.E.S. is revamping its after school structure, and hopefully the new schedule will provide a variety of choices for all of our students!
