Virtual Summer School Program 2020

The purpose of this program is to reinforce fundamental skills within each grade band/subject that will provide meaningful practice to assist these students in preparing for the next school year over a five-week period (Monday, July 6 to Friday, August 7).

It focuses on general standards that fall within the grade band/subject area in order to accommodate the needs of all students. The goal of this program is to provide additional individualized support to help your child build upon fundamental core subject skills that will best prepare them for the ensuing school year. Your child will be responsible for:

  • Watching one virtual lesson each week (Monday).
  • Meeting with their teachers at least two times a week (Monday and Thursday).
    • Note: Students must meet with their teachers to verify they understand the material and/or receive help. If they do not meet with their teachers during the assigned mandatory times they will fail the program.
  • Completing two graded assignments (Assigned Monday and Thursday)
  • Completing two mandatory individual practice assignments (Tuesday and Wednesday)
